Description

QPROOF is a liquid applied synthetic resin based waterproof coating designed with superior UV resistance and elongation properties. It cures on exposure to the atmosphere and forms an elastomeric seamless membrane. Due to its excellent flexibility this high performance product resists cracking, peeling and thus offering a long term durability to the life of surface.

SURFACE PREPARATION - Fresh masonry or concrete surface must be allowed to cure for at least 14 days. Concrete must be clean and rough. All oil, grease, dirt, debris, paint and unsound concrete must be removed. All cracks>1mm should be filled with suitable crack fillers. In case of metal surfaces, remove rust and contamination for better protection. Apply primer coat of QPROOF, diluting 1 kg with 1 ltr potable water, by brush, roller or spray. After the primer coat is QPROOF,diluting 1 kg with 1 ltr potable water, by brush, roller or spray. After the primer coat is completely dried, apply two coats of QPROOF. It is recommended to apply the 2nd coat perpendicularly and after the 1st coat is totally cured. For better results, Glass Fibre Mesh/cloth can be embedded in between the 2 coats. QPROOF could be diluted up till 20-30% to make the material workable. All brushes and tools should be cleaned by water immediately after use.

Coverage depends upon the nature of the surface to be treated. But on an average smooth surface would give coverage of 3.5-4 sq.mt./kg./coat. Two coats will give approx. 400-450 microns DFT.

Minimum 18 months in unopened container. Store away from sunlight and preferably below 30C. Do not apply when thr air temperature is below 5C or if there is a threat of rain.

QPROOF is packed in 20kg. & 50kg. plastic containers.

QPROOF is safe, eco-friendly and presents no health hazards. As with all chemicals caution should always be exercised. Protective clothing such as gloves and goggles etc to be worn. INHALATION of vapour or mist should be avoided. In case of EYE CONTACT flush with large amount of clean water and seek medical advice. For SKIN CONTACT, clean with water and soap untill all traces have been removed. In case of INGESION, drink plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.
