Description

QCURE is a high quality acrylic based polymer. It accommodates limited crack movement in underlying surfaces. It improves the flexural and compressive strength of cement. It has very good bonding property. Due to low permeability of polymer modified system, properties of anti carbonation and resistance to chlorides ion penetration is observed.

SURFACE PREPARATION- Fresh masonry or concrete surface must be allowed to cure for at least 14 days. Concrete must be clean and rough. All oil, grease, dirt, debris, paint and unsound concrete must be removed. All cracks>1mm should be filled with suitable crack fillers.

Prime the prepared surface by mixing 1 part QCURE with 1 part water and 2 parts Portland cement with brush, roller or spray. After the primer coat is completely dried, Mix QCURE with water and portland cement in the ratio of 1 part QCURE:0.5 part water:2.5 part cement using slow speed mixer to produce lump free homogeneous slurry. On damp surface, apply the first coat using brush or roller in one direction. Minimum 2-3 coats are recommended depending on the nature of the surface. For better results Glass Fibre Mesh/Cloth can be embedded in between the 2 coats. Clean tools and equipments with fresh water before the material hardens.

1kg. QCURE mixed as per data sheet will cover approx. 4.5-5 sq.mt./kg/coat depending upon the porosity of the surface.

  • Employ cold weather or hot weather practices as the temperature dictates.
  • Do not use material at temperatures that may cause premature freezing.

This product has a minimum shelf life of 18 months when stored under normal temperature. It should be protected from extreme temperature and preferably stored in shade.

QCURE is packed in 20kg, 25kg & 50kg Containers.

QCURE is safe, non toxic, eco-friendly and presents no health hazards. As with all chemicals caution should always be exercised. Protective clothing such as gloves and goggles etc to be worn. INHALATION of vapour or mist should be avoided. In case of EYE CONTACT flush with large amount of clean water and seek medical advice. For SKIN CONTACT, clean with water and soap untill all traces have been removed. In case of INGESION, drink plenty of water and seek medical attention immediately.
